The weather was wonderful in the middle of July and the fact that everyone had their own house made it very convient. It is close to the beach and we had a big bonfire in the evering that everyone enjoyed. Our family of 5 (kids are 13, 9 and 3) just returned from a two day stay in the Captain's Quarters. The location is perfect for a family like ours: across from a park yet also within 2 blocks of both the playground and the beach. The home itself is also very family-friendly: It has hardwood floors instead of carpet. Family videos/DVDs, some games, beach toys, and even kites are all provided. Plus, the covered porch gives you an option in the case of rain! Oh, and the master BR provides a great place for parents to retreat into at the end of the day. We look forward to our next visit to Bella Beach!

We stayed in this house with our dalmation for 3 nights, what an amazing vacation. Cloud nine has the most beautiful architecture of any vacation home I have ever been in. We loved how the home was centered around the giant staircase that broke the house up into so many little "mini levels". Watching the storms from the upstairs was an amazing experience. I also enjoyed how the little couch was set in front of the gas fireplace so that you could sit there and read but not be disturbed by others watching t.v. I went running on the beach with my dog and it started to rain. By the time we returned we were both soaked. I took a nice hot shower in one of the 3 bathrooms, washed my wet clothes (thanks to your washer and dryer) and then layed on the couch in front of the fire and took a nap.

My daughter's 16th surprise birthday party was only enhanced by our experience in "Cloud Nine". 6 teenage girls at the beach could mean disaster, but the accommodations at Cloud Nine were perfect. Our family of five had such a lovely time in the Beachnut Bungalow! The kitchen was so well-appointed that it was a delight to cook many of our meals there over the weekend. My kids were thrilled to have a PS2 at their disposal and played for many happy hours while it stormed outside. We stayed at Bellaview Upper during the week following Christmas of 2005. We came down to the Oregon coast to experience the Winter storms that are typical at that time of year. We weren't disappointed - experiencing the 70-80 MPH winds and the massive waves was simply awesome. The house was very well maintained, very clean, and quite comfortable. There were seven of us in our party, but we didn't feel cramped in the house at all. We're looking forward to our next visit at Bellaview Upper. What a lovely place. Inspiration Point was everything we expected and more! Loved the big porch in front of the home. Nice quiet times in the sun. We came here in Feb. and it was in the 60's. The home was well layed out. Nice cozy fireplace, and comfortable couches. Very clean and comfortable beds. The home was easy to keep clean with the wood flooring on the main floor. If you've only stayed at the beach in a motel try a home instead, you feel more at home with friends and family, instead of being just in a bedroom setting in a motel. We bought fresh crab and made our own dinners and enjoyed the evenings visiting with family, and watching movies. Lots of space for everyone, and bringing your own snacks and food kept the cost down with eating out. Can't wait to go again. We plan to bring more with us next time.....Telling everyone about it.

What a great place to relax! It is quiet, roomy, and in excellent condition. Sneezing distance to the ocean and easy driving to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Newport. The house itself makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. There are homes on both sides of the property but the way it is designed you do not notice them! Sounds of the Sea was the perfect house for my wife and 18 year old son. Mythree brothers, one sister, and us rented three homes in Bella Beach for our family reunion, so when we gathered together it was at one of the other two houses, since they were much bigger. It is great for a family or two small families. We had children ages 2, 8, 12 during our stay and the park area across the street with its box of toys was terrific for burning energy on the fly. With the beach only two blocks away and being used only by the residents was wonderful as well. Easy to get back to the house for whatever we needed. The house was immaculate and well stocked, even with dvds and vhs tapes, beach equipment and toys in the garage. We enjoyed every part of our stay. I loved the quiet neighborhood at night best, so much nicer than a hotel and all of the noise that comes with that kind of accommodation. Neighbors were really nice and helpful. What a delightful, cozy get-away-from-it-all place! We loved our time at Port O Bella in early October. The home and the furnishings were so inviting and cozy. We loved the enclosed backyard for our doggie to roam in. Soaking in the hot tub was such a treat. The kitchen, dining and living areas, so open like that, made our visting with others so easy and comfortable. Personally, I loved bundling up in my blanket with a mug of hot coffee in hand and venturing out to sit on the lovely front porch in the early morning hours - - some nice peaceful quiet time. We loved the whole Bella Beach area - - we are booked into another on of the BB properties for Thanksgiving, but are sure we'll be back another time to relax at Port O' Bella once again.

The photos don't do this house justice. It has a lovely cottage at Seaside, Florida feel - the kitchen and family room have beautiful coffered ceilings, pretty white trim and soft colors on the walls. The decor of the house is very pretty. The kitchen is fully eqquiped, dishes, pots, pans and utensils - new and in good shape. The loft (separate from the main house - over the garage) is perfect for someone who wants independence from the rest of the group. The master on the main is nice, and the large bedroom on the 2nd floor has a porch and is the largest room. Two full baths. Walk to the beach is easy - and pleasant.
The hot tub is right off the back door, and other than the neighboring home, there is a feel of privacy. A group of six to eight could feel comfortable here, although the family/kitchen area might feel a little small to a crowd.

We just got back from a long weekend at Inspiration Point in Bella Beach with our daughter, son-in-law, granddog and our own little terrier. We enjoyed being able to take the dogs along and were pleasantly surprised that a dog-friendly home was so exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
The lay-out of the home was perfect for our situation with a master bedroom on the first floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the second. We absolutely had all the room we needed as well as privacy when we didn't want so much togetherness.
The rental rate was reasonable and we all wondered why anyone would choose to stay in a hotel for the same money when you can have a complete house and a very private hot tub in a delightful neighborhood. The well equipped kitchen made it even more affordable by not having to eat out.
We enjoyed the walk from the house to the beach with the dogs and had a great time overall....despite a very rainy, windy weekend. We will definitely return to Bella Beach.

We stayed in Gull Cottage for a week in late October early November 2004. My husband had a stroke the previous May. We got hit by 4 hurricanes that year here in Florida. lost our roof, our fence and most of our pool enclosure.
While at Gull Cottage, we got a storm with 100 MPH winds that blew the grill of the deck. But we felt not even a gust inside the safe haven of our cottage.
Our daughter-in-law studied for her masters. I made pancakes and bacon. And we indulged in the wine waiting for us upon our arrival.

My sister and her 4 kids came out with my parents from NJ and met our family from Reno up at this house. The 11 of us had a FABULOUS time. The house was perfectly accomidating. The Salem Bunco Belles loved their visit to Bella Beach and their stay at the Starry, Starry Night cottage. What a lovely spot. We were a little anxious about its close proximity to the main road, but were astonished to find no road noise whatsoever after checking in. Our eight women had a delightful time in the hot tub and strolling along the beach. We had an enjoyable meal at the Italian Riveria and shopped to our hearts' content. We also luxuriated in Swedish massage.
The Belles had a delightful time and will certainly return to Bella Beach next year ... we checked out some of your larger properties in case we get all 12 members next year.
We found our accommodations very clean and comfortable, and thank you for such a hospitable and easy accommodation.

My husband and I enjoyed two gloriouos nights at the Bridgehouse. We booked last minute and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the house was and what a great location Bella Beach is....close to town, but not right in the "hub bub". The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We made some fabulous meals and ate by candlelight and firelight. We felt so at home there!! The beach was wonderful and so close!! I am hoping to come back for a girls getaway soon. This place would be perfect for that. Thanks again!!

A true sanctuary! Bella Beach surpassed our expectations and Safe Harbor was peaceful and comfortable. It was amazing to sleep to the sounds of the ocean and be able to walk to the beach in minutes! The cottages at Bella Beach are surrounded by trees and beautiful greenery giving them a sense of privacy and peace. I felt homesick for Safe Harbor when I returned home. I've looked at dozens of vacation spots along the Pacific coast and truly found what I was looking for at Bella Beach.

The place did pretty well with two toddlers, although I would suggest securing the childproof straps on the hot tub cover for children's (and homeowner's) protection. The community is great - convenient to get to the beach and all the sights!
