Robin’s Nest & Carriage
Welcome to the Robin’s Nest! Our home is nestled back from the street with shade trees in the front & back to give you a little more privacy. The large front porch beckons you to come on up and sit awhile, relaxing to the rustle of the ocean breeze through the trees. As you enter the purple front door you’re greeted by the great room, which is spacious with country accents. One of the unique country art pieces is the trio of stars made out of tree twigs, helping bring the outdoors inside.
The kitchen is just the right size for any family get together. In the dinning area you can seat 8 people and more at the breakfast bar. You’ll also find granite counters and lots of cabinets that are well stocked with all the items needed to cook your family meals together.
The living room is spacious with a TV/VCR/DVD that can be seen from anywhere in the room. This is a great space for your family to enjoy a family movie night or watching the game as you could have the movie/game on the TV, a buffet set up in the kitchen, and maybe a board game going on at the dinning room table. This way the whole family could be enjoy being together but everyone could be utilizing different parts of this room.
Off the kitchen there is a hallway that has a half bath, washer/dryer and the door to the back deck. You will also find the master bedroom suite on the first floor. This room is very large- boasting a king size bed to sink into at the end of the day. If you wanted to you could just lounge around and watch a movie on the TV/DVD player. The master bathroom will surprise you by its size, and claw footed bathtub to soak in. And if that isn’t enough you can step into the large walk in shower. This bathroom also has his and her sinks and hair dryer attached to the wall.
Take a stroll upstairs and you will find two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. To the right of the stairs is a large that over looks the front yard through a large window with plantation shutters. This bedroom offers a queen bed as well as a day bed with a trundle. The décor in here would be great to have 3-4 teenage girls as it is decorated with lavender/yellow flowered quilts. You also find a TV/VCR, so you can relax and enjoy a movie from your bed. The bedroom to the left of the stairs looks out to the back yard and has a big four poster queen bed with a patchwork quilt. This room also offers you a TV w/ VCR/DVD player, to you can watch a movie or the local shows at your leisure.
Venture on out to the back deck and you will find the oversized hot tub, gas BBQ, and deck chairs. Bring your cup of coffee out in the morning to sit and enjoy the sounds of the ocean crashing or listen to the birds signing. If you need a little more space to sleep another couple, we have the carriage house over the garage that has a queen bed and its own full bath, a secluded, quiet escape. The carriage house has a TV, sitting chair, closet, and windows with plantation shutters. The soft yellows and florals make this a cozy country hidaway a nice retreat.
Our home is a 1-2 minute walk to the beach, a block to the park, and just right for your next family vacation.
