Your eyes quickly span the vaulted pinewood ceiling to the large windows that line the north and west walls. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and draws you closer. An open floor plan offers a gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room, and sitting area. Sit for a spell and listen to the sound of waves crashing on the ocean shores, or step outside on the balcony for a closer look of the bluffs and sandy beaches below. To the far north, Cascade Head meets the vast Pacific Ocean.
Now, come inside and take the chill off as you relax in front of the majestic stone-faced, wood-burning fireplace. Sisal woven rugs soften the hardwood floors throughout the room. Enjoy a movie, watch TV, or read a book before dinner. The large dining room table and island provide plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat. Stained glass lighting fixtures and candles add ambiance. Black slate and granite counters, honey cabinets, a 23.4 cubic square foot refrigerator, gas range, and self-cleaning oven are special features of the gourmet kitchen.
Also on the first floor are a full bathroom and the 1st bedroom with a queen bed. A stairway leads to the 2nd floor, downstairs. On the right are hallway closets, filled with linens and towels, and a laundry area. The hallway leads to the 4th bedroom/family room, with two twin beds and a queen futon. Lots of games, books and a television are provided for your pleasure.
At the bottom of the stairs, and to the left are the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom has a peak of the ocean and is adorable. A white wildflower comforter is complimented with colorful accent pillows, and a periwinkle bookcase. The 3rd bedroom is a spacious master bedroom with fantastic ocean views! Two comfortable, striped canvas chairs, a large dresser, a four-poster, raised queen bed and an armoire with a large television, VCR and DVD showcase the room. Retreat through the sliding glass door to the private hot tub.
This home saves the best for last – a shared bathroom that can only be described as glamorous! You will wonder if you’ve left the sandy beach, when you walk on the sandstone tiles. Step into the open shower and you are on pebble stones. The walls are lined with small sandstone tiles, iridescent sage green square tiles, and bubble tiles. The tile décor is featured again on the walls surrounding the extra large tub and double sink vanity. Sage green granite counter tops add the final touch to this amazing bathroom.
Additional features include a picnic table on the balcony and a ping pong table in the oversized garage.
