- Depoe Bay Whale Watching Center – Perched on a seawall with ocean views and a viewing deck, the Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay is a great spot to see whales. Park staff and volunteers are available to answer your questions, and help you look for whales and other marine life. The center is equipped with binoculars for visitors and displays feature educational information about whales. Please note that the visitor center is currently closed, but the viewing deck is open.
- Ainslee’s Salt Water Taffy – Stop by this family-owned and operated sweet shop that has been serving locals and visitors since 1947. You can choose from their wide selection of chocolates, caramel corn, fudge, peanut brittle, gummy candies, and of course house-made saltwater taffy.
- Fogarty Creek Recreation Area – The kids will enjoy playing where this lazy creek meets the ocean. There are wooden footbridges to cross, a covered picnic area, agates to be found, birds to watch, and tidepools to explore.
- Ariel Park at Salishan – Fly high up in the trees for a thrilling adventure at Aerial Park – the only aerial adventure park on the Oregon Coast. Adrenaline seekers can attempt to conquer the course’s 15 platforms and 20 elements through a series of obstacles.
