The Perfect Harbor from the Storm

It’s storm season here at the coast, which means it’s the most wonderful time of the year and Bella Beach is showing off its beauty in a very special way. There is no better place to enjoy the raging storm from a comfy seat by the fireplace at one of our cozy homes.

This week’s storm brought the waves up our beach access stairs, which, as you can imagine, doesn’t happen very often. The waves are powerful and mighty, reaching 36′ and roaring at the top of their lungs. In Depoe Bay, the waves were spraying across HWY 101 and sea foam fell like snow. The wind casting the seagrass to and fro makes for a gorgeous landscape around the Bella Beach access. The beach has completely disappeared and the waves have taken over, crashing into the seawall and onto the stairs.

Our homes are tough and have survived through the wind, rain, hail, crazy waves, and the lighting! This weather makes our homes seem even cozier. Cecina Mare is one of the coziest with the holiday decor. Make Bella Beach your home away from home for this holiday season!
